Changing role of women in worksplace – 2

By: admin on Sun 21 Sep 2008 1:59 PM under Business, Corporate culture, Globalization, women

You lovely ladles across the world are on to a revolution – the workplace will never look or feel the same. Everywhere there are evidences that the CHANGE has begun…what it will become – you tell me – you are shaping it.

Here is what I see:

1. Networking – The social networks are screaming that women are using them more effectively – Linkedin networking has become popular among women. Who says we don’t NETWORK among each other. Facebook is connecting women who are friends all across the world. They are now back in touch with friends who are working in industries and companies across the globe. This is becoming the NEW NETWORKING CLUB – and we are including everyone.

2. Personal Development - More women are taking online classes, online classes are reporting more women who are taking and instructing the classes – Who needs a class room to go to?

3. Men are more supportive – This is HUGE. We are checking the gender out on the door before we go into meetings, conferences, discussions, politics. Men like competition ( this explains all the video games) – they are loving this quality competition. And if you are helping them WIN – they are building strategies with YOU.

Welcome to the new era!

SUCCESS TO ALL.

#DIVERSITYtweet Book 1
With the current globalization and technological advancements, we are seeing an exponential growth in diversity in our world. People are transcending cultures and geographies and are embracing diversity in their experiences and interactions with others. Most importantly, this book is a thought provoking resource for managers and those who work with a diverse group of people, be it in the workforce, community projects, team building assignments, social gatherings, or business meetings.
