Diversity is Innovation

Tricia RoseTricia Rose in her Keynote at the Multicultural women national conference said, “Diversity is a replacement word to structural inequities in distribution to resources or access to it”. She proposed that it is important to acknowledge the structural inequities and to adjust it.

I was in agreement to her thoughts on how problem solving capacities are improved when inclusion is created.I believe that we need to understand that interdependence between people is a constant. In depending on each other, we can find better solutions to our problems – create a space for innovation.IMG_0857

Diversity is innovation – a new way of thinking evolves in trusting each other and learning from each other. Think beyond what is obvious to us and learn from the experiences of others…
