Dress for success – Here is the Palin way
We have long heard the stories why dressing up for success is critical. But the Palin wardrobe malfunction – which cost her party $150K for her clothes and a lot of resources to respond to the media when this story came out, makes me wonder if this was necessary.
Here is Sarah at the RNC.
The question is: Is a Valentino jacket worth $ 2,500 necessary to address a nation under an economic downturn?
Does this signal lack of concern for people’s current economic situations?
Does this resonate with a woman who makes $2,500/month?
Does this cover up for lack of expertise?
Here is Sarah addressing a crowd.
Does this look resonate with the average American woman?
Why can’t her clothes be bought within a budget like in a household? Do these clothes make her look smart?
The lesson I learnt: Dress for success. But remember, it is not an alternative to looking smart.

#DIVERSITYtweet Book 1
With the current globalization and technological advancements, we are seeing an exponential growth in diversity in our world. People are transcending cultures and geographies and are embracing diversity in their experiences and interactions with others. Most importantly, this book is a thought provoking resource for managers and those who work with a diverse group of people, be it in the workforce, community projects, team building assignments, social gatherings, or business meetings.
