I recently got a book as a gift : The science of getting rich written by Wallace D. Wattles.

This is a great read and proposes you to use your thoughts to propel you by using your creative energy and aligned actions to riches.

The book doesn’t advocate sitting in a corner meditating all day either. I would summarize author’s prescription for getting rich as going about your daily business, but organize your life in such a way that money can flow into it.

The author advocates being grateful before having the money. He claims that abundance is natural and invevitable if we accept it, so we should be grateful for it ahead of time instead of afterwards.

Here is the mantra

” There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.

A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.

Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon Formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.

In order to do this, man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind, he must form a clear mental picture of the things he wants, and do, with faith and purpose, all that can be done each day, doing each separate thing in an efficient manner.”
