Leadership Styles

There has been a lot of talk about the differences in Male and Female leadership styles over the past decade.

But without a doubt, Tom Peters has been leading the way, by constantly bringing forth how we cannot discount women leaders and have to embrace their leadership style – that is different and unique to them.

In a recent post on his blog, he said no style is better or worse – it is just different. Ex. Relationship building for a males is a stunning insight but for females is obviously boring.

Even Guy Kawasaki blog post laid out some differences – men are often more responsive to email because it downplays their competitive tendencies. On the other hand, women react better to in-person encounters because they are more relationship-oriented.
