Practicing to make your strengths perfect
Practice is the classic activity of successful people.
Sidney Sheldon, the best-selling novelist, approaches writing by turning out fifty pages a day and not missing a day. ( The average goal for a writer is four pages).
And so for business professionals, surgeons, teachers, mentors, artists. Excellence is developed by repeating a strength.
World class managers spend time with their team, they are their advocates…they are constantly motivating them.
World class artists spend time practicing their art, they spend time on their instrument or voice to improve their skill.
World class pilots are always talking about flying. They are anticipating the ‘what if’ scenarios. So, if they find themselves in a situation where they have to land a plane in adverse situations, they have played out the scene before in their minds.
World class thought leaders surround themselves with other thought leaders and are able to think in a creative way. Every perspective gives their thinking a new dimension.
