Sharing My First book – #DiversityTweet
There is always something special about your first book. I shared the book with a friend of mine and she said, ” I know it’s like letting somebody hold your first born!”.
Why I wrote this book?
By 2010, Twitter will have roughly 18 million registered users. What does this have to do with diversity and inclusion? The content is being developed in 140 characters; and identities are being created – with it we are observing new breakthroughs and breakdowns for Diversity.
The book intends to create a bridge between this medium of expression and your diversity and inclusion efforts – managing the generational divide, employee retention and engagement.
Thanks to everyone who contributed in putting this book together. Special Thanks to Carol Evans, CEO and President of Working Mother Media for the Foreword. And Dr. Rohini Anand, Capt. Barrett, Aida Sabo, Rosalyn Taylor O’Neale, Dr. Rita Boags and Tracy Ann Curtis for their advance praise. They have inspired me with their commitment to Diversity. I continue to learn from them on my Diversity Journey.
Thanks to Rajesh Setty for pushing the bar on me to discover an author inside.
And to all those people who read my blog.

#DIVERSITYtweet Book 1
With the current globalization and technological advancements, we are seeing an exponential growth in diversity in our world. People are transcending cultures and geographies and are embracing diversity in their experiences and interactions with others. Most importantly, this book is a thought provoking resource for managers and those who work with a diverse group of people, be it in the workforce, community projects, team building assignments, social gatherings, or business meetings.
