Social media distress – 3 ways to destress

We live in a world when it is becoming increasingly difficult to disconnect. If you are like me, then you are an internet inhabitant and mobile monster. In cyber lingo, you are wired 24×7. In essence, if you are away from your desk, the mobile phone will have your emails delivered in your hand – almost an instant postman. And not to forget some of us, who are now guilty of carrying two cell phones as if one was not enough.

And the icing on the cake is to keep up with Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels. The already converted ones blog, tweet and update FB either a couple of times a day or atleast once a day. Add up all this activity and you are fa perfect case of Social Media Distress.

Here are the 3 steps reduce social media stress:

1. Take a Break – At the max, we can process information for 4 hours if you continuously stare on our computer screens. It is important to get away from the screen to take a break. Try to go for a walk, listen to music or do any activity that relaxes you. I am sure when you get back to your screen you will ready to fire up your laptops.
